These are my favorite set of balls 😆 ...I know, I know.. I sound like such a weirdo saying it but seriously, I always have them with me! I travel with it, I keep a pair under my sofa, and under my desk.
It’s so versatile! You can use it for your back, your neck, jaw, face (my kind of Face Gym), shoulders, forearms, calves, feet, toes, hamstrings, quads, and on and on!
Why are these balls so awesome?!
The balls have a unique texture. When it’s directly on your skin, it manipulates your fascia and releases muscle tension, positively affecting your circulation and lymphatic system.
(If I lost you at fascia, in a simple term, it’s a connective tissue network that is the biological fabric holding us together. It’s like a spider web 🕸🤓 and fascia is another fascinating topic for later)
I’m all about teach you in bite sizes so I’ll start you with this one “stretch” first to...
𝙍𝙀𝙇𝙀𝘼𝙎𝙀 𝘽𝘼𝘾𝙆 𝙏𝙀𝙉𝙎𝙄𝙊𝙉:
✅Lie on your back, knees bent, feet on the ground
✅Make sure your your knees and ankles are aligned with your hips
✅Place the two balls on each side of the spine, horizontally
✅Slowly, rock side to side
✅It should feel like a deep tissue massage
(Disclaimer: there is no exercise or "stretch" that is one-size fits all so be careful! Not sure? Schedule a consultation with me)
Feels intense? 😯Then just relax in the position.
✖️STOP if there is any pain
✖️Avoid arching your back
✖️DO NOT place the balls on your spine
I created a video for you to guide you through the movements to work out the kinks in your back:
